Accessibility at Oaknel
We want this site to be usable by everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control or screen magnification, and anyone who finds small text or low contrast hard to read.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and are actively working toward it.
What that means in practice
- Everything works with a keyboard — menus, links, buttons and the contact form.
- Controls and form fields have clear labels and visible focus.
- Text and background contrast is maintained, and text can be resized in your browser without breaking the page.
- Information is never conveyed by color alone.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
